Whiteboard Acquisition Process
Confidential Initial Assessment
Introductory call to get to know you and learn more about your business after signing a confidentiality agreement. We will walk through the acquisition process and discuss potential next steps.
Indication of Interest (IOI)
If there is mutual interest following the initial conversation, you will receive an indication of interest which will provide a proposed valuation and outline of next steps.
Partnership Exploration
A more detailed review of the company will be completed. This involves a high level financial review, understanding business practices and a potential on-site visit to your company.
Letter of Intent (LOI)
A formal proposal outlining key terms of the transaction. This proposal provides for exclusivity but is non-binding and not a definitive agreement.
Confirmatory Due Diligence and Plan
A robust due diligence process is completed evaluating all aspects of the business. Third parties, such as accountants, are often involved in the evaluation.
Purchase
A definitive purchase agreement is finalized and company ownership changes hands.
